While Turkmenistan Airlines operates primarily domestic flights, it also services trips to international destinations, with many of them being in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Germany and the United Kingdom are both popular locations in Europe, while Thailand, China, and Malaysia are common countries to visit in Asia.
Customers that choose to fly with this company have the option to choose from two travel classes, which are known as Economy and Business. With a seat in Economy, you will be able to have access to snacks, drinks, and in-flight entertainment. If you opt to fly in Business Class instead, you can go to the airline’s lounge before your flight begins boarding, have a seat that provides more legroom, and receive free pillows and blankets in order to get a good night’s rest.
Turkmenistan Airlines is not a member of any air alliances or organizations, but it does maintain codeshare agreements with several airlines in order to help diversify its flight paths. At this time, the companies that this airline has connections with are S7 Airlines and Belavia.
Almost all of the 29 aircraft that make up this airline’s fleet are either Boeing, Bombardier, or Ilyushin. Out of the many different types of planes that are used, the Boeing 737-800 is the most common, as it fits up to 160 passengers and is ideal for medium-range trips. For smaller trips, such as between neighboring countries, the airline opts to use the Boeing 737-700, a choice that can fit between 126 and 149 passengers and is one of the world’s most popular commercial planes.
