Horrible. In desperate need of refresh. Soap scum on “clear“ shower doors, priced as if luxury but several rungs down from that. Surly staff with too many guests to process efficiently. Told that large group was staying so I’d have to get breakfast before 7 am (even though stated hours were until past 10 am). Did not respond (ever) to a chat request over Bonvoy app. Mobile key unavailable even though advertised as mobile key location. Would never stay here again, ever. Morning staff admitted that Marriott corporate was in house to reform the place because it hadn’t passed corporate requirements in years
Pros:The rooms were clean.
Cons:There was no room service for the 4 nights I stayed there.
Pros:It was too crowded at breakfast time and very hard to find a place to sit
Cons:Additional bread toaster would have reduced the waiting time
Pros:Clean and New Basic Room was good for staying at the hotel for sleeping. We toured the city and beach area and were out most of the day. The rooms were nicely decorated and new. Garage is nice to use to go directly into the floor of my room, and was very easy to unload my suitcase. I did not see a luggage carrier to use. I liked having breakfast included. If you just need a good basic room with breakfast that is a decent price -this is a good choice.
Cons:The location is Okay, but was farther out from the city then I would of liked. But for the money you sacrifice location.The Breakfast was larger then normal with more options and was above normal for hotels but not amazing. I did not like having to pay for parking, but just add the $12 fee to the total price to compare with other hotels. Parking is an issue downtown but not sure why had to add the cost of parking further out in a more suburban area. WiFi was okay for emails but had to pay extra for streaming WiFi. Pool was very small and only holds 19 people and very small space. I missed having a courtyard outside just to sit outside and relax.
Pros:The location of the hotel was perfect for us, reasonably close to historic downtown Savannah. Our room was a decent size, kept clean daily during our stay by a pleasant staff and the room was conveniently accessible to the parking garage for quick and easy loading/unloading travel items.
Cons:The fact that as a guest you have to pay to park.
Pros:The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The pool area was clean and well-maintained. Express check-out was very easy and convenient. The room was pretty and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't great, but it was free.
