Pros:

Friendly service at the ick-up location; VERY pleased that when I called the 1-800 number to modify my reservation, I actually talked to a real person in under 5 minutes. Overall, Alamo has provided the best rental service that I have experienced in a long time. Will definitely use them again.

Cons:

The Kansas City location required additional photo IDs (fraud prevention). This didn't affect me, but others may need to be aware of the requirement (which was not advertised in advance).

Cons:

Alamo was closed when we arrived in Kansas City. The rental car company to the right next counter over had to handle the paperwork. I had already booked and paid online for an easy pick up. They made us jump through hoops while my 90 year old parents had to wait for us.

Pros:

Everything!! The car was clean, customer service was very clear and nice to work with during the process.

Cons:

Me having a mobile app to track my reservation better. I had to search through emails and track down information. This is a problem for me not with the service. Alamo was amazing and I will definitely rent from them again. Thank you

They tried to slip in an extra $80 charge for my car. When I asked them what it was for and attendant named Ashley made me wait for 30 minutes to speak to her supervisor. When I finally get to the supervisor all he did was make stupid dad jokes about how his day was going. He called me into his office, did not invite me to sit down, and spent 10 minutes determining that he has no idea what Ashley was doing. When I asked if this was of any concern— That his employees are just charging customers, large sums of money with no Justification, he just stared at me., And aggressive. Never go with her. Every couple years I Go with them because of a low price, and I get reminded why this is such a shitty company.

The engine in my rental car needs service. The engine light came in and the engine stalled twice!! I couldn't get Sevastopol things done on my trip because I was afraid to drive the car and have it break down somewhere. I should get a discount for this!!

Enterprise personnel were great on both the rental and the return. My wife was very impressed with the Camry. Car could have been cleaner.

Pros:

the staff was professional.

Cons:

The car had to be returned because it was SUPER, SUPER toxic with whatever they sprayed it down with. It caused deep coughing, a limited ability to breathe, and my lungs hurt for a full day after driving in it. My mother had the same reaction and thought that she would have passed out over time. We were refunded the remaining days, but still charged for the initial morning we had the Enterprise car. (we returned it as soon as the rental place opened) Nothing was done to compensate us for our trouble... we had to purchase last minute flights and were in danger of missing my sister's labor.

Car had not been cleaned and previous renter had smoked - ashes between rails on floor. People at Enterprise were very nice. Car had maintenance issue and they made it up with money off and upgrade on next rental.

I reserved a car online for a late afternoon time but it defaulted to noon. I called at 1030 a.m. to let them know I wouldn't be picking up the car until after 4 p.m. when I got off work and the gentleman said that would be better because they didn't have any cars. We reset the time for 430-5 and he said they would have a car for me. When I get there, they said they didn't have any cars. Needless to say, I was not happy. Long story short, they produced a car. If you're going to rent these days, you better double-check.
