The flight was okay, but legroom was tight for me and I’m only average height, although at 30” legroom is comparable with most other airlines. Not much room in the aisle either making the trek to and from the toilet difficult with passengers standing in the aisle. On the whole, it’s probably on a par with budget airlines and the ticket process extremely competitive.

My flight was late. We stayed in aircraft one hour 😩

Great job notifying of 30 minute delay in departure. Fabulous job making up for the time and arriving as scheduled. Air travel is just no fun anymore with the extreme overcrowding, and someone needs to come up with an innovative plan for loading and unloading passengers (load all window seats first, middle seats second, aisle seats last?). Great job getting the luggage on the carousel in record time!

On board was excellent—a remarkable positive change. Check in was horrifying. Forced to check in branded cabin baggage approved bags weighing 10 and 12 kgs each, because desk insisted these were not fit for overhead lockers. Got charged £160 for two bags. Behaviour of staff was hostile, motivated and rude. Wonder if BA pays commissions on collection, or borrows staff from Airport operator. Basle evidently is an airport used by budget airline— and customers are treated like consumers.

Check in staff were rude and argumentative with most passengers. Overly scrutinizing with baggage allowance. Delayed, again. Becoming the norm with BA.

Overall a good experience. Heathrow was quite crowded and we did not knew the boarding gate just very late. Kayak sent a message with the gate number, but BA no and also it was not shown in the airport screens. so I had to wait until BA offered the gate number, as a result we didn’t have time to eat because we didn’t know how dar were we from the gate..

Due to a cyber attack at the SeaTac airport ALL of the airport computers at the airport were down. This seriously impacted every airline at the airport and the resulted in our flight leaving a hour later than scheduled. This delay caused us to miss our connecting flight from Heathrow to Edinburgh. I was amazed to have British Airways staff meet us at the gate as we left our flight. They quickly provided us with new boarding passes for a flight going to Edinburgh later the same day. Problems sometimes happen but they handled the situation in first class style.

The flight attendant kept bypassing our row when serving drinks and food. And the. He spilled water on me. And spilled a chicken tikka masala on the aisle floor right by my feet.

Worse experience with an airline in general. They failed in providing boarding passes at the beginning of my flight, requiring a trip to our local airport to correct. Most flights were delayed & one plane had to be replaced due to mechanical problems. Then they forced me to check a carryon bag that I couldn’t pick up in time due to a delayed flight. I had to choose between catching my flight or picking up a bag. And then trying to make a baggage claim online was impossible! A comedy of errors, but it was anything but funny. I would rather take a cruise liner than fly on British Airways again!

Staff was engaging and helpful. Loved the experience and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family
