FAQs - booking Thailand flights

  • Are there direct flights from Dubai to Thailand?

You'll find there are direct flights on this route. All direct flights leave from Dubai International Airport (DBX), and the average flight time is between 6 and 7 hours. Direct flights are only offered by Emirates from Dubai to Thailand and are the most costly tickets available.

  • What should I know about one-stop flights from Dubai to Thailand?

When you pick a flight from Dubai to Thailand that includes one stopover, you'll be flying with either IndiGo or Gulf Air. Both airlines offer flights from DBX and fly to all four of Thailand's international airports. Flights to BKK are the most cost-effective one-stop flights. If you fly with IndiGo, prepare to change planes at Bengaluru Intl (BLR) and have a long stayover, while Gulf Air flights change planes at Manama Bahrain Intl (BAH) and tend to have short layovers.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from Dubai to Thailand?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from Dubai to Thailand.

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional return ticket. You could then fly to Thailand with an airline and back to Dubai with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Dubai to Thailand?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying to Thailand from Dubai up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

Top tips for finding cheap flights to Thailand

  • Morning departure is around 1% cheaper than an evening flight, on average*.
  • For cheap flights from Dubai to Thailand, you'll most likely leave from Dubai International Airport (DBX) You might find flights from Dubai's second most busy international airport Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) however, they are rare. Note that some flights from DBX include a transfer on an Etihad bus from the city centre bus station to the airport.
  • You'll have the choice of four airports for cheap flights from Dubai to Thailand. Flights to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) are most frequent and popular as they fly into Thailand's top tourist location, Bangkok. Flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DON) also fly into Bangkok, but this airport is smaller and receives fewer daily international flights.
  • If you are planning a tropical resort holiday, consider flights to Phuket International Airport (HKT) which both fly into Phuket or Samui International Airport (USM) in Ko Samui. These locations are considered the main resort holiday districts in Thailand. Flights on Bangkok Airways are the cheapest when heading to USM as the airport was built by the airline as an international hub for Thailand.

Really a nice flight. , very comfortable seats and leg space.

Oman Air is on the relation Muscat-Salalah without any serious competition and that's to feel same as the metall bars of your seat in your backside after this flight. Don't expect anything other than being brought from A to B and you won't be disappointed

Everything was great in the business class. Seats 1A and 1C wouldn't recline properly. If i stood up then it did recline, even when the crew checked it he made me stand up recline it all the way and then he said "ok now you can sit" i just laughed it off.

We missed our connection due to technical issues with the plane. We were stuck in Oman Airport for 5 hours, had to overnight there, got rerouted to London, were denied boarding on the plane, were then seated separately (as a family of 5), did not receive any notification of our luggage being in London, were denied boarding for the AA flight to Chicago, and then all seated separately again. Finally our luggage was lost. Worst experience ever. Will never fly on this airline again

The crew could have offered us seats together as the flight was half empty. But overall, the service quality was good as well as the food and entertainment options. Would love to fly Oman Air again.

Smooth until we get in the plane it was so small and uncomfortable the whole flight, apparently they have Changed the plane and I don’t know what was the problem this flight is from mct to phuket - on my way back everything was perfect

Although a short regional flight, Oman Air continues to provide excellent service, and personal attention. I always find the Oman Air leg of an international flight less stressful and more personable.

The whole trip was well organised, and pleasantly executed. As with most Qatar Airways flights the staff were particularly attentive and supportive. The Q Suite was the "icing on the cake".

Staff were attentive and professional, and managed to be personable and accomodating at the same time. Oman Air has become my airline of choice.

Reduced cost for children to lounge Children’s area in airport Non spicy snacks Option of children’s meals Good films More children’s games and 2 player games Ran out of vegetarian meals

More leg room or a bed hahaha but in all was one of the best flys I been on

‏One of the worst flights I took in My life, delays after delays, then the AC is not working and we were living in a sauna,& we were sweating like pigs. and this even before take off. Next we arrived late one hour late, baggage claims worse than the delay itself add to that one more hour to get our luggage. I am extremely disappointed and my experience is I’m never going to fly on Emirates airline. Immigration was the only good thing about this trip. It took us seven minutes to go through to the luggage claims.

Excellent staff! Flights were delayed due to technical issues after everyone was boarded and we sat in the flight for almost 2 hours before taking off. Not enough vegetarian food was available despite pre-ordering. The staff did an exceptional job dealing with both the problems neither of their making.

When you buy emirates you don’t expect low cost. Boarding by bus. Seat will not incline. Line before emergency exit. Eating tray hits belly (and I didn’t grow lately). Entertainment on demand by payment.

Better entertainment; the lack of it made the very long flight even longer

POOR CREW BEHAVIOR. RESTRICTIONS ON FOOD. FEELS LIKE ECONOMY CLASS.

Absolutely horrible all around especially for such a long 13-14 hour flight - terrible food - ancient entertainment - legroom worse than a short air Asia flight - not enough toilets

Everything was superb, only bad point was that the fast track on London Heathrow arrivals was not handed out to me and I had to go back to the gate to collect it.

Everything was good up until getting off the plane. Riyadh simply cannot handle an A380. Exiting the plane on a remote stand was extremely slow and frustrating, then waiting for buses for transport back to the terminal is another disaster. Give me the 777 any day.

Food was good, great communication by Pilot and Co Pilot, Crew very friendly. Slow beginning drink and meal service - over 2hrs into flight which disrupted overnight flight sleep. Entertainment systems was 3 Stars, my wife's was nonfunctional and had to call attendant 3 times to get it reset, mine the headphones and jack we're twitchy and keep going to muted volume.

Had to discuss more than 15 min regarding wheelchair they gave only at the start location. No food serv in 1 st flight. Considering flight started at 10:00 pm so had to starve for dinner. Checkin screw was polite. Food in 2 nd and 3 rd flights was not good. It was too cold in the flights. Had to ask for blankets. Missed quality all thru, though the fare was on higher side

Food could have been better Entertainment was absent even in Business Class

I like it very much. Gulf Air is always the topper rank of the world. I love it very much.

The drinks should come before food. Unable to have any fluid unless after food. Thanks

Gulfair were on top form and everything went as planned

The entertainment on board was really poor. The map doesn’t give enough information and the movies have arabic subtitles, you can’t choose. The stuff wasn’t very friendly and the breakfast really poor. The food must not be spicy! They didn’t have enough drinks.

Aereo nuovissimo e con tanti servizi malgrado la durata del volo Spazio per le gambe ridottk

It was a great experience, can’t wait to do it again soon!!

Aircraft was new and comfertable .on time. Cabin crews, which I got english language pronounce was very difficult to understand .ovee all ok flight

The boarding at Heathrow is chaotic. That's partly due to the lack of space and seating at gate 8, and a Qatar flight from gate 9 at the same time. That's down to Heathrow rather than Gulf Air. I've had a similar experience here before. Another problem which isn't specific to Gulf Air or Heathrow is announcements, and those for boarding in particular. They are difficult to hear with all the other noise and for me with hearing problems it's even worse. A simple tv screen would help, so long as it's updated of course.

The seat condition was very poor . The seats handles was broken the wire inside the seat handle was out .It was very ugly scene and very uncomfortable to be in this situation. Please keep ur flight seat in good condition to respect your passengers . Regards

Salam air flights are very full . So there is no way to fallow Covid 19 protocol . All seats are occupied . They should consider less passenger in each flight .

Pros: "Cheap airline dirty everywhere but not that many people in the plane and with crew members were super unprofessional."
Cons: "Hire new flight attendants"
Pros: "I made it to my destination"
Cons: "Flight attendants could be less playful with customers on the plane and even with earphones on I could here them, they did not stop laughing and screaming and yelling and acting like bunch of crazy fools"

I will never ever book air india in the future. I was with my family and at delhi airport I had to go through too with horrible experience. My 12 years daughter saud that she will never come bqck to india the way people treated us. There was no line for bags drop off since we checked online and print tag at their Kiosk as per email instruction. People working at the counter were so careless and rude. They were keep talking to each other than taking care the customers. I will not recommend anyone to fly via air india. I had horrible experience. Especially, the staff at checking counters was very very rude and careless. I have feeling if air india won't change the way they doing their operations they will out of business in a few years. Air hostes were not happy . I did not see a smile on anyone in the plane. I called twice for the assistance and no one showed up. I hope you will sene this to the Hire authority. I left a video with an another employee of air india who asked me about my experiences. I hope they will make some changes ASAP. Regars, Mohinder Kumar

Food quality deteriorated after Tata aquired the airline. No alcoholic drinks till last meal on a long haul 15 hour flight. Entertaiment systems needs a complete overhaul.

Everything was bad and entertainment did not work and no landing cards and overall done with Air India

The planes are dated and need upgrades. Seats are not comfortable and entertainment equipment doesn’t work

Direct Connection is the biggest advantages. Aircrafts are now better but food and beverages could be better and served more often in a ultra long flight

We trusted KAYAK and Air India but no one is responds for the lost of baggage 🧳 2 (bags). My in laws are totally lost hope for this kind of situation to travel any more.

The tv didn’t work and the seats were too small

Absolutely nothing. Cold and unpleasant airline staff, and to top it all, the entertainment system was broken. Really harrowing experience.

The flight was delayed for 2 reasons. 1) Weather - due to which it incoming aircraft was diverted to Ahmdabad. 2) technical issue which took 5 hrs to solve at Ahmedabad. The flight which was to leave by 6pm left at 12:10am the next day. They could have handled the situation in a better way. They waited for Airbus engineer to come and solve. They didn’t simultaneously call for another aircraft so passengers could travel through their connecting flights as scheduled. It was a very poor way from Air India.

BAD experience. Entertainment system was not working and most of the passengers had this issue. Staff was not helpful. Meal was yuck. Bad old flights.
