The room and location to the beach. The band playing everyday WAS TOO LOUD to enjoy the pool or our stay. You could hear it in our room and we were far away. Bldg is under construction so no food was available. But there's plenty of restaurants close by. Band was good but way too loud. Wished the music was softer and played island music. I would not return if the sound level is not addressed

We were charged resort fee with our booking as well as at the resort. Kitchen closed for renovations. There was no food available. That should have been disclosed at the beginning of the reservation. We could have made other arrangements.

Cons:I was closed due to Irma. YOU GUYS BLOW IT. maintenance man said they had notified all on line vendor that they were closed.

Pros:The Thunderbird is awesome. The rooms are nice, clean, cute, COOL (as in AC cool) and the property has everything you need for a stay at the beach. The location couldn't be better and the staff was wonderful. We needed to stay past check out time and they would've let us stay in our room as long as we wanted, but guests were coming in that had requested our specific room. They still let us stay on the property, park, and use their facilities as well as towels for pool/beach and ice even after we checked out. I can't speak highly enough of this place!

Pros:Great location, very friendly staff. The rooms and the grounds were a bit dated but very clean. We liked that we had the option of sitting by the pool or in a beach chair on the sand close to the pool. And the beach access cannot be beat!
Cons:Mattress was pretty hard and the loud neighbors could be heard late into the night.
