The building is older and our bathroom was so hot and not ventilated at all (stayed humid and wet). The staff was super sweet and the location is good for a 20-30 minute walk to most anything downtown.

Cons:Bed was a little lumpy, and the bathroom was a little dirty. Manageable if you’re not too picky.

Cons:Noise is a bit of an issue, as the walls transmit sound easily and it's adjacent to two reasonably busy roads.

Pros:The staff was very accommodating, they allowed us to check in a few hours before check in time so that we could freshen up and explore the city! The location of this motel was great, we could have walked to the convention center (where we attended comic con, the reason for our visit), and most uber rides downtown were around 7-10 dollars! There were also a few decent restaurants within walking distance! I definitely recommend breakfast and J and M.
Cons:While the actual location of the hotel was great, it did get a bit noisy at night, with or without open windows.

Pros:The best part about it is the location, which is right in the heart of downtown Portland. Clean enough, though not anything fancy. Seemingly nice staff.
Cons:Noisy. A little sketchy. Didn't feel 100% safe there.

Pros:Vintage motel in great location with friendly staff. Don't expect fancy little soaps, room service or marble countertops. Lots of fun places nearby, good bus and bike connections.
