A whole busload of ppl arrived on their shuttle together late in the evening from flights across Canada. Many flights were from 1 to 3 hours late. I watched them tell one after another that they have no reservation, it was cancelled because they arrived late. Some were so upset they were in tears. My reservation was good still being only 1 hour late. They are not at the airport so the travellers denied cars are now stranded outside the airport. Poor customer service. Many customers called the reservation line to inform them about their flight delays. There was no communication to the people working that night. No sympathy, and no attempt to help them. Just a sorry....next.

I was required to take $12 day insurance on top of my credit card insurance because I was unable to provide proof I had personal umbrella insurance. I have never encountered this and believe it was super shady and I felt bullied by staff there. It was after hours and providing proof was impossible, they knew they could squeeze their customers and they did. I was super annoyed, along with other people in line at pick up but my booking was prepaid so what was I supposed to do. They wouldn’t even let me provide proof the next morning. Will never rent with them again, their fees are hidden and shady AF.

They have hidden fees (they charge $11.95 a day mandatory insurance and rely on fine print in their contract, when the contract clearly says the price includes all mandatory fees). Then on return they appear to be trying to charge me for damage that was already there.(I actually talked with staff before I left about that exact paint chip they are now appearing to blame on me)

the windscreen was dirty (inside) so it was difficult to see in the sun or headlights. windscreen washer was low. very difficult to get through to the location via phone.

Terrible terrible company. They gave away our car/cancelled our reservation and never gave us any solutions. Walked away from us while we were talking to them. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

Firstly, there was no phone number for NextCar at the airport to get shuttle. I eventually, after 3 or 4 calls, went outside and hoped I could get a number from one of the other companies drivers. Luckily, a NextCar shuttle showed up by chance. I was very frustrated. Then, at the rental desk I had issues with insurance for the car. That will be the last time I rent through NextCar or Rconomy.

Poor customer service. Had to call 3 times for shuttle from airport. When it arrived it was very run down and tired looking van. Interior dirty and seats wear not fassened down to floor properly. Once at office. Was sent to sit down and wait without staff willing to look at my reservation. After approaching 3 different staff ... finally found out they didn't have a car for my reservation and offered to refund any deposit if there was one. Several people in waiting room said they'd been waiting over an hour for their car. Reservation was booked on May 18th for a September 30th pickup. Very unorganized and unprofessional setup. Go to city car and truck rental instead!

Try and force you to buy extra stuff and lie about required extra insurance saying it’s a legal requirement when it’s not and I proved I had extra insurance from my personal vehicle insurance AND the credit card I used. They said it doesn’t can’t and I had to buy theirs. Liars and thieves.

They overbooked their cars which lead to them saying there was no car available for us. If I didnt put up a fuss they would not have figured something out. They called a different rental company a few minutes drive away, however it ended up limiting our daily usage from unlimited to only 200km/day. There was also no shuttle on the return date and this other place was a 2 hour walk or 45 minute transit away from the airport

I was not able to speak with an agent during business hours to change my pickup time due to a delayed flight. Because I wasn’t able to have the car held, I had to pay walk up prices elsewhere and have absorbed that cost, being much more than budgeted for my travels. At $160/day versus what I had booked at $87/day. The lack of help I’ve received this far has resulted in the *:( emojis while answering your short survey. Let’s see Fox, can we make it right? :( 🦊

Price was OK. Location and delivery of vehicle was terrible. Understaffed and crowded rental office. Car was clean on outside but inside windows seemed to have never been cleaned. Seats were not comfortable nor easy to exit. I would not return to this company.

The regional reps in Toronto provided very good service, although the car had not been cleaned prior to pickup. Dealing with Sixt representatives over the phone was very frustrating. Their level of costumer service is deplorable. Jim Cole
