Dirty car, poorly cared for (tire looks like it pass it’s life span, something was loose under the car and it dragged the floor). At the return location it look also a long time to someone assist you and the shuttle driver was on the phone the entire time as he was driving. Will never use it again and don’t recommend at all. The lower cost is not worth it

They surprised me with several uexpected charges, which brought their price up to what a better company wouldhave charged. The car had been in a small fender bender and whas not the SUV that I initially reserved. It had over 33,000 miles on it and had never had the cabin filter replaced. I bought a cabin filter myself to keep from etting sick from breathing spores through the air conditioner. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It was impossible to change or modify the reservation. Trying to get someone on the phone was impossible at the local level and at the national level. It was an outrageous sum of money to add a day to the original reservation. It took at least 2 days to speak with someone. The website was horrible. You were in a loop and couldn't move forward or back. I think at this point all rental car companies are owned and operated in the same manner. Be prepared for a difficult time if you need to change anything for any reason.

The advertised price had hidden fees. I paid 285 for the car for one week. When I dropped it off, I was hit with 86 dollars of all sorts of random taxes. The car was dropped with full tank of gas. They should advertise the price to including this and why only charge it at dropoff?

Drop off was great but pick up awful and we ended up with electric vehicle which I didn't mind but no instructions on charging and didn't have adapter for tesla charger. Also the center console was locked with pin # we weren't given and couldn't get a hold of anyone who could help us.

The experience was terrible. I’d avoid BUDGET at all cost. The lines were long and the agents were unfriendly. Additionally, they tried to add a $15.99 fee for fuel when I returned, even thought I’d already filled it up and returned it full. It’s a dishonest business practice that is not customer focused. Rent elsewhere, if you can.

We waited 30 minutes for our rental vehicle before they finally gave us another one that was not washed or cleaned out. They were unable to find the vehicle that the customer agent had assigned to us. The drop off line to enter the garage was long. The easiest part was handing the keys in for the vehicle.

Car was dirty, its was a wrangler hybrid witch I did not want. They had no other choice. They would not put me in another vehicle or offer an upgrade. It had tape residue all over the outside of passenger rear window. .

We ended up having a screw in our tire. The lady on the phone was wonderful. She advised us to go to the enterprise car rental in Brunswick Georgia. The workers there were amazing. They had us to the tire place in minutes. The tire place changed the tire for us after enterprise guy talked to him. All took under an hour. Very impressive!😊

The service was excellent, However there was a mechanical problem with the car that was not disabling but was a concern. It shuddered at times upon initial take off from a stop. It seemed like a driver's side CV joint problem. It did not hinder our progress at all. It was only a concern.

We paid for an economy car because that’s all we needed. When my husband got to the car, there was a wrench light on on the dash board. He asked to swap the car for one that did not have an engine problem. The agent told my husband that the light meant nothing. My husband needed a reliable car and continued to insist on a car that was not at risk of failing to get him to his destination. The agent then accused him of just not “liking” the car. He gave him an “upgraded” car and told him the “lady” who lets you out will charge you extra for this car in a threatening way.

Arrived at airport, no one at Payless counter. Avis was handling Payless rentals. About a 2-3 hour wait to get car as lines were extremely long. Completely unacceptable as we had to be somewhere for a job, so we were never able to pick up our rental.

vehicle had a very unpleasent odor when i picked it up it was not the proper size that i had reserved despite calling to double check the day before however it did get good fuel economy the guys out in the parking garage were very helpful. the people behind the counter were very very slow there was along line and poor signage denoting that the payless counter was actually being serviced by the avis desk

The staff at the Jacksonville location were very rude. Charged for prepaid fill up, without going over the disclosures. When I stated I wanted to decline, the woman stated, “ you don’t need to get confrontational.” She did not say anything about charging for gas. This is all after I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while she was on her phone and I was the only one there. Very disappointed. I will do whatever I have to to avoid ever using Payless again.

Als ich das Fahrzeug abholen wollte verlangte man noch weitere 197.25 $. Leider funktionierte meine Kreditkarte nicht. Als meine Frau mit ihrer Kreditkarte bezahlen wollte, wurde diese nicht angenommen, weil der Vorname Marianne nicht zum Vertrag passte. Bargeld wurde auch nicht akzeptiert. Daraufhin wurde der bestehende Vertrag storniert und ein neuer Vertrag auf den Namen Marianne Kolb ausgestellt. Ich bitte Sie deshalb um Rücküberweisung meines im Voraus bezahlten Rechnungbetrags.

I was not able to get a car despite my reservation. Their office was closed when I got to the airport. Instead of telling me that when I called, I was promised that a shuttle was “on its way” to get me. There was no shuttle. I waited over an hour before finally renting from another company. Don’t use Fox!
